Hey Everybody!
I just wanted to let you know that this little pig really needs your help. If you have any ideas or suggestions for a topic you’d like to see me do a pigisode or a rap on, please let me know. If you are interested in collaborating on a project, I’m all for that as well! I am open to hearing your likes, dislikes or things you’d like to see me do differently.
Please feel to leave a comment below or contact me directly at putnam [at] putnampig [dot] com.

Craaaaaaaap!
It seems as though You Tube does not hold a special place in their heart for all things pink and fuzzy:

The Pig Gets Rejected
Bummer. The “Dear Pig” rejection letter I received stated that I was rejected because I didn’t have enough videos… yet… I have seen partners that have far less videos uploaded. Maybe they hit the wrong automatic response button when they sent it, I don’t know.
Well, I guess it just wasn’t meant to be yet. In the meantime, I think the best thing to do is to keep doing what I’m doing… and hoping that the word will spread so that the subscriber base and number of views continues to increase. I am more inclined to think I was rejected because they want more views per video.. or maybe they just really don’t do pink and fuzzy?
If you’re willing and able, please try to spread the word so that I might have a better chance next round! Would be lovely to pay some bills.

It looks like
this little piggy screwed up a little bit, so I wanted to try to explain my thought process so that people understand. In my swine flu song, there is a line that says, “stay away from Mexico”. I didn’t mean to literally convey that as my opinion or advice. The reason I put that in the video was that it was one of many points in the song where I was restating what the media is feeding us, and then my response.
I attempted to make several points throughout the song in that manner - in particular, really, was the fact that the media was giving the impression (as was the naming of the disease by the CDC) that it was being transmitted by pigs. Frankly, I only believe a fraction of what I hear on the news as it is and this was just my way of gently pointing that out.
So, my most sincere apologies if I offended anyone at all by that line, as it was purely unintentional and I would never want to make anyone feel bad.

So there I am in Gmail, checking up on my latest emails, and to my surprise, I look up at the top little text ad and here is what I see:

I’m not sure if I should be very happy at the support there, or mildly horrified at the very thought of it.
